The book of Psalms was written from King David who lived 1037 - 967 BC under influence of divine inspiration and is known as the perfect prayer book. This prayer book has 150 hymns and poems that are the most important collection of the Judaism.
The Psalms are a summation of the faith,human emotions and nature. There are Psalms for praise, Psalms for rejoicing, and Psalms for the plea of help, Psalms of protection, deliverance and mercy.
These songs have been said and used since ancient times by the ancient Jews, Jesus and Mary, the Apostles and are said until this very day by millions.
